Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge East by IHG

I recently had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Baton Rouge, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially cozy, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the area. I also appreciated the convenient access to various outlets and a decent-sized desk for any work I needed to catch up on. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The selection was impressive, with a variety of options ranging from fresh fruit and yogurt to warm cinnamon rolls and a make-your-own pancake station. It was a great way to start my day! The location of the hotel is another plus. It's conveniently located next to restaurants, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Baton Rouge exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure. I look forward to returning on my next trip!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge East was excellent from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made check-in and check-out quick and easy. The location was also convenient to everything we needed, with restaurants and stores nearby. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked, and the overall atmosphere was clean, safe, and inviting. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baton Rouge!

Room lacks light in the suite we stayed in. Doesn’t match the pictures they have on their site. UPDATE: I have improved my review because after an initial unhelpful desk worker the next shift came in and solved our issue by providing us with extra light in the room via a portable standing lamp. Problem 90% solved!

I am a IHG member and I usually do not do reviews on my travel. Because I travel so much it felt like a job so I stop doing them about 6 years ago. But I have to say a special thank you to Charika at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge East. She had the absolute best customer service and service. She made breakfast like it came from my own kitchen. Usually when a hotel has free breakfast it is not the best. This young lady made the best turkey sausage and biscuits. If there was some cheese my husband said she would have been able to give red lobster a run for its money. Thank you Charika for actually caring about the people you cook for. Your breakfast area was clean and look like you actually cared about your hotel guest. Thank and I tea appreciate your service and time.Thank you .

Great hotel for the value Superb location with lots of food places in walking distance - Congested road but hotel in the rear like a sanctuary - great parking Rooms are comfortable nice beds and bedding and staff is always friendly Great hot and cold breakfast for 120.00 !!!

The Best Breakfast I’ve had in a Hotel. It was very hot and and fresh and neatly arranged. The manager was so helpful and pleasant. The rooms are wonderful and clean. Staff was excellent. We will return soon.

I love staying here when traveling for work. Everyone is always friendly and PROFESSIONAL. The rooms and property is clean, quiet, and the breakfast is nice. Highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My king room was adequate, with blackout shades that worked fairly well. Kuerig coffee maker available in the room and dove brand soaps and hair products were in the bathroom and well stocked. Breakfast was free and had enough variety that I wasn't disappointed over my 5 day stay. Of note, one side of the toaster was not working, and the breakfast attendant acted like this wasn't a new thing. Seems like an easy replacement, but wasn't impactful for my stay overall. Ice was only available on the ground floor so that took a tad bit of planning, but no big thing either. Lots of food choices close by, even some in walking distance. I usually stay at a Smilton ;-) , but this hotel was added to my favorites for any return trips!
